Edwin is one of our favourites at the moment here at Happy Graffiti HQ. He’s a silly old soul and makes us laugh with all his silly stickers, funny characters and plays on words. In fact, we’d probably go as far to say that we would want him to be on the imaginary executive board of Happy Graffiti (with Bortusk Leer as the Chairman)
This animal vegetable reminds us of our celebrity animal game…
Cucumbear!
What would your animal vegetable be?
We would have:
Tomatoad, Beet-ah or sugar snap bees
Fives all round for you Edwin!

It’s been a beautiful and sunny winter day today in London and I was lucky enough to be noised up by Ben Eine to go and have a peek at him getting on with some new work in Shoreditch. For those of you that are familiar with Shoreditch, his brilliantly massive Anti Anti Anti and Pro Pro Pro on Ebor street are being painted over with some new more colourful words.
When I asked him how he had been dealing with the horrible cold and wet weather his week, Ben just smiled with the sun on his chops and said that it was the first time this week that he had his jacket off… brrrr…. I think he may be a superhero of some sort.
Apparently each letter uses around 3/4 cans of paint! They are giant letters after all. He’s finishing off the second word today and tomorrow – the first word is EXTORTIONIST
If you get a chance go and have a peek. Brilliance!

The sun came out for my when I went plodding round Hackney Wick on Sunday – The walls have all been spruced up for “The Walls Have Ears” Project -( have a peek at their site – http://the-walls-have-ears.tumblr.com/) The signs along the wall represent different businesses that Hackney Wick has been home to ,as well as other things that make you think of the Wick too. Just lovely… I also met some lovely happy people beside the Mint Cream Wall.
If you get a chance go and have a peek around the Wick – there are lots of surprises and colourful walls… as well as silly souls.
Hackney Wick for president.
